It takes time to learn Finnish. In the meantime, you need information in English about:

• policy changes that affect your studies
• courses and book exams
• social happening

Tsemppi believes that a university with over 2000 international students can affort to provide all of this information in English

Visa Hassles?

Students from outside the EU have to renew their vi­sas each year. The process is slow and innefficient. A better visa system would:

• save time for everybody
• make it easier to stay and work after studies
• encourages people to stay in Finland

 Tsemppi will work with the Finnish government to improve the visa system.

Learning Finnish?

Do you have problems with:

• finding courses that fit your schedule?
• learning more than just grammar?

Tsemppi supports more Finnish courses, at more flexible times.

New Students Homeless?

Every year new students arrive in Finland and find they have no place to live. When they get an apart­ment, they’re often poorly maintained. HOAS should provide:

·         advance booking for students coming from abroad

·         enough housing to accomodate all the students who need a place

Tsemppi will work to make it easier and faster to get housing
